One Connection, Found Everywhere

A POS inventory integration lets your in-stock items be found by shoppers and agents, delivered from your own shelf. Here's how connecting once works.

Connect a point-of-sale system once, and in-stock items can show up wherever agents and shoppers look, delivered from the store's own shelf.

That's the promise of a POS inventory integration done well. You do the connecting one time. After that, the work of describing, matching and offering your products doesn't land on your desk.

What a POS inventory integration shares

When a store connects, the useful facts about the shelf are what matter:

    • Items. What you carry, matched to a canonical product anchored on its barcode (UPC/GTIN).
    • Prices. What each item costs.
    • Stock. Whether it's on the shelf.
    • Hours. When the store is open, which affects whether we can promise delivery timing.

JENNi's SKU Graph takes those facts and joins them to a shared product record. Each store's item becomes a store offer with price, stock, source and when we last saw it, along with how sure we are right now.

That last part matters. We don't treat stock as certain or as instantly current. We track how fresh each offer is and how confident we are, and the answer shoppers see reflects that. Search shows in-stock items only.

What this changes for where you're found

Without a connection, your shelf is mostly visible to people who walk past or already know you.

With one, your in-stock items can be found at shop.jennipro.com, where shoppers choose a product rather than a store, and through JENNi's MCP server at https://shop.jennipro.com/mcp, which any agent that speaks Model Context Protocol can use. One connection, several places to be found.

We aren't promising that every item will be listed, or that every shopper will see your products. Availability depends on your stock, on where the shopper is, and on what the graph can confirm.

    How orders reach the store

When a shopper or an agent picks a product, JENNi runs the order. That covers the checkout, the delivery and the money. On these orders JENNi is the seller. We buy the item from the store for the customer, which means the customer deals with us if something goes wrong.

Delivery works two ways. Local delivery is offered when a store with the item is within about 30 miles of the shopper. Otherwise the item can ship to home, and JENNi ships anywhere in the US. An order can arrive the same day, but we promise it only when the quote says "Get it today."

The offer a shopper sees reads "Delivered by JENNi." The store's name isn't shown. What the store sees is an order for an item it has on the shelf.

Delivered orders and failed orders both flow back into the graph. If an item turns out not to be there, that's learned, and it shapes what's offered next.

    What we are not promising

This is a good place to be plain. We aren't going to quote pricing or terms in a blog post, and we aren't going to imply them. Anything about commercial terms is a conversation, and it should be settled in writing, not assumed from an article.

We also aren't going to list which systems we connect to here. Which point-of-sale systems are supported, and how, is something to confirm directly with us for your situation.

    What stays with the store

You keep running your store. Anything about your other sales channels, or what's expected of you as a condition of being listed, is part of the terms conversation. If any of that matters to your plans, raise it early and get the specifics in writing.

    Getting started

You don't need to prepare a project. A few small things make a connection go better:

    1. Know which system holds your inventory. The one you trust most.
    2. Check your barcodes. Items with barcodes match cleanly. Items without them are harder.
    3. Make sure stock and prices are kept current in that system.
    4. Confirm your hours.

Then tell us what you use. We'll talk through whether and how it can connect, and what that would look like for your store.
