Near a store that has it? It can arrive the same day. Not near one? It ships to your door.
If you've ever searched for same day delivery near me, you know the real question isn't "is it possible?" It's "will it work for this item, at my address, today?" Here's how JENNi decides, and what you'll see before you pay.
The distance check
Local delivery is offered when a store with the item is within about 30 miles of you.
That's the whole test. We look at the stores that carry the product, and we check whether one of them is close enough to your ZIP. If one is, local delivery shows up as an option. If none is, it doesn't, and shipping is what's left.
We say "about" because distance is a guide, not a promise. The option you see at checkout is the thing that counts.
Same day is promised only when we can verify it
Being near a store doesn't guarantee delivery today. So we're careful with the words.
A product can arrive the same day, but we only promise it when the quote says Get it today. If it doesn't say that, we don't claim it. And when a store's hours aren't known, we never promise same day.
This keeps us honest. A quote that over-promises feels good for about an hour. A quote that holds up is the one you remember.
A few things can shape what you see. Which stores carry the item. Whether they have it in stock. Where you are. Whether we can stand behind a same day promise for that order. We check these together, then show you one clear answer instead of making you work it out.
When same day isn't possible
Some items just aren't close. That's fine. JENNi ships anywhere in the US.
If no store with the item is within range, you'll see ship-to-home. It still reads Delivered by JENNi, and it still comes with a clear total before you pay.
Shipping isn't a lesser option. For plenty of products it's the best one. It simply arrives on shipping time, not today.
What you see before you pay
You shouldn't have to guess how your order will arrive. Before you pay, you see:
- The option: local delivery or ship-to-home.
- The delivery promise: including "Get it today" when it applies.
- The delivery fee.
- The total before tax. Tax is added at checkout, where you review the final total.
Nothing is charged until you approve that total. And checkout re-verifies the current price and availability, so it won't go ahead on a stale price.
Why we're careful about "today"
Same day is the part of delivery that's easiest to get wrong. A late arrival feels worse when you were told it would come today.
So we'd rather say less and be right. If we can't verify it, we won't promise it, and you'll still get a clear delivery option. An honest delivery promise matters more than a fast one that doesn't hold.
What about timing and cutoffs?
We don't publish a single universal cutoff time, because it depends on the order. The quote is where the answer lives. If it says "Get it today", you're good. If it doesn't, the order isn't being promised for today, and you'll see the delivery promise it does carry.
That keeps the rule easy to remember: read the quote. It tells you what we can stand behind for your item and your address, right now.
A few tips
- Use your real ZIP. The distance check starts from where you are.
- Look for the promise. If it says "Get it today", it's verified. If it doesn't, plan on normal delivery times.
- Add the size to your search. Many sized items are listed one size per product, so searching for the exact size gets you to the right one faster.
