Shop Local Without the Driving

Want to shop local but not drive to five stores to find one item? Here's how shop local delivery works with JENNi, from search to your front door.

Everyone wants to support local stores. Nobody wants to drive to five of them to find out who has the thing.

That's the honest friction of shopping local. The intention is good. The logistics are the problem. JENNi searches the shelves for you and brings it over, which is what shop local delivery should have been all along.

The real friction of shopping local

Think about the last time you needed something specific. A certain kind of cable. A particular board game. A pair of rain boots in your size.

You could call around. You could drive around. You could check each store's website, if the store has one that's current. By the third stop, you're wondering whether it was worth the gas.

Local stores often have what you want. The hard part is knowing which one, and knowing before you leave the house.

Searching nearby shelves all at once

At JENNi, we connect what's on physical shelves to the people who want to buy it. Behind the scenes, we keep a shared graph of products, built on barcodes, and which stores carry them, with price, stock and when we last saw it.

For you, it's much simpler. You go to shop.jennipro.com, type what you want, and enter your ZIP code. You pick a product, not a store.

Search shows items that are in stock. Local delivery options are listed first, then we fill in with ship-to-home. Sized things, like shoes or clothes, are often listed one size per product, so add the size to your search.

We're careful about one thing: we don't claim to see all the shelves. Stock changes, and a shelf can empty between our last look and your order. That's why checkout re-checks the current price and availability before you pay.

Shop local delivery: from the store to your door

Once you choose, we buy the item from the store for you. Every offer reads "Delivered by JENNi," and that's what you'll see throughout.

Local delivery is offered when a store with the item is within about 30 miles. If a quote says "Get it today," that order can arrive the same day. If it doesn't, the order isn't promised for today, and the quote tells you what to expect instead.

    Before you pay, you'll see:

    • the price,
    • the delivery fee,
    • the delivery promise,
    • and the total before tax.

Tax is added at checkout, and nothing is charged until you approve the final total.

Why this keeps money in the neighborhood

When you order through JENNi, the item is bought from a store. That store makes the sale.

Smaller shops often can't compete with big online pages on reach. They have great stock and no easy way to show it to someone searching from their couch. Connecting those shelves to online shoppers gives them a way into the places people already look.

You're not asked to give up convenience to do it. You don't need a car, a free hour or a list of phone numbers.

One more thing worth knowing: JENNi is the seller on these orders. If anything goes wrong, you come to us, not to a store you've never met.

    Try a search

A good first test is something small you'd normally make a trip for. Search for it and see what comes back.

If you'd rather not type, you can also ask an AI assistant that connects to JENNi. Tell it what you want and your ZIP, and it checks nearby shelves and brings back options for you to approve.

Shopping local shouldn't take a whole afternoon. Start at shop.jennipro.com.
